August 14, 2008 Closing today at 12 noon are the 5 Raleigh, NC shows — indoors in air!! I have completed all entries that i normally make so, if you need me to make a last minute entry, please let me know asap. for those that have not sent in their confirmations, please remember to do so in order for me to formalize the list of attending dogs.
Closing next Wednesday - August 20th are the two North Branch, NJ shows:

Somerset Hills K.C. 9/6
These will be the last shows which we will attend before the PWDCA national. They are outdoor shows. Please let me know if you will be entering and if you will be making your own entries or if you would prefer that i make the entries.
DON’T FORGET THE KENNEL CLUB OF ANNE ARUNDEL B MATCH ON 9/21/08 IN MILLERSVILLE, MD INCLUDING CERF, MICROCHIP, CGC, TDI AND ALL BREED CONFORMATION — The perfect practice time for those upcoming youngsters before the fall shows and a chance to complete health testing or garner a very important CGC or TDI title which many homeowner insurance companies will offer discounts for homes with dogs possessing those titles.
I will try to catch up on what everyone has been accomplishing next week when i have a little bit more breathing room — schedules have been very hectic the last couple of weeks with lots of traveling.
And, haven’t we had some wonderful weather lately? much better than those 90’s!!! Wishing everyone a glorious end of summer!

August 6, 2008 Hi everyone, another muggy day here in paradise, lol — but better than being rained upon!!!
This is your reminder that next Wednesday, 8/13 the five Raleigh, NC shows close — these provide majors in several breeds and is five days indoors in climate controlled settings that make it the place to be. As Always, if you are making your own entries, please send us email confirmation and be sure to include one of our agent numbers on the entry — Jo Ann is P0041 and Adam is 1200.
Also attached is the latest, most updated projected show schedule which will take you through the end of the year. if you are unable to open it, please let us know and we’ll be happy to drop a copy in the mail to you.

July 23, 2008 Closing next week on Wednesday, July 30th are the two Talbot K.C. shows and the Annapolis K. C. show. This year they will be held all in one location in Easton, MD. These shows are outdoors although they do have lots of shade.
PWD people — please remember that Talbot K.C. hosts the Delmarva PWD Specialty including Sweeps — please let us know if you will be entering both (for those of you with youngsters). Also, they have a great luncheon and raffle — if you would like to bring something, please contact them through their website — it is always a fun event.
I am leaving today to travel towards Greenville, SC — doing half of the trip today and the other half tomorrow a.m. then I will be going straight to Salem, Va for the five days of shows there and Adam will be joining me in Salem. We will be making our entries online using the laptop so if you need to communicate, please email or call our cell phones only.
THOSE ATTENDING THE PWDCA NATIONAL SPECIALTY IN RHODE ISLAND — Please email us what classes you will be entering with which dogs so that we can orchestrate this properly. We will not accept more than two dogs in any of the regular classes. specials, of course, are put into different groups so they do not apply.
Here are the classes (in dogs and bitches):
6-9 puppy
9-12 puppy
12-18 puppy
American Bred
Open
This is a prestigious event and we do not feel a dog should be handed off for someone else but should be shown strictly by us which is the reason for this ruling. Please email us with the pertinent information. Additionally, we will need to know who we need to make entries for and which owners will submit their own entries.
Entries close August 27th — so it is really not that far off!

July 15, 2008 Please note that next Wednesday, July 23 the three Harrisburg, PA shows will be closing. These shows are indoors and in air conditioning. They are smaller than the April Harrisburg shows but certain breeds generally have significant entries there.
IMPORTANT — These are Jim Rau shows — if you are making entries yourself and doing them online through InfoDog, they must be completed before TUESDAY, 12 noon - July 22. I will be doing my entries on Monday so if you are not making entries yourself and would like us to make them for you, please let us know. Those of you completing your entries yourself, please remember to send email confirmation of entries to us.

This is a great show site and always draws good entries.
PLEASE NOTE: FOR THOSE OF YOU ENTERING THESE SHOWS, YOUR DOG WILL NEED TO BE DROPPED OFF AT THE GROOMING SHOP NO LATER THAN SATURDAY, JULY 26TH. Adam will be leaving early Sunday morning to go to these shows as it is necessary to ensure full hookups and adequate indoor grooming. I will be coming in Sunday night directly from the Greenville Shows.

June 29, 2008 It is HOT today at the Rock Creek Kennel Club! It getting to the mid 90’s.
Placed Reserve in Bernese Mountain Dogs today. Baby Thai [Malinois] won a point today taking Best of Winners over the male.

June 25, 2008 Hi all, I caught some kind of a stomach bug so didn’t get notice out to everyone that Shawnee closes today at 12 noon. the dogs needing majors should not enter these shows as they are very small, hot, outdoors and just have never pulled big entries. if you would still like to attend, please let me know this a.m. Thanks to all.
The next big closing events will be the Greenville shows — Jo Ann will be doing these by herself and then the Salem shows where Jo Ann will meet up with Adam. Both of these venues are indoors and in air conditioning. Both are large shows which pull majors in many breeds. it also gives everyone the opportunity to do 8 shows in a climate controlled environment within a week and half. A great opportunity!
